Opening of Chairpersons & Heads Applications

Chairpersons of Committees and Institutions & Heads of Teams of EUropa.S. 2016 Applications are now open.

Please note that the deadline for the submission of the applications is the 20th of September 2015. As these positions are the core part of the Simulation, candidates are expected to apply within the given deadline. The selection process will be based on the application itself, followed by the personal interview conducted by the Secretariat.

Once selected, Chairpersons will be required to submit their proposals for the topics of the agenda and prepare the study guides for their respective Committee/Institution. Chairpersons as well as the Heads of the Crisis Group/ Editor in Chief/ Translation Unit/ Staff will also be in charge for the successful coordination of their respective teams, as well as attend a number of preparatory meetings before the Conference and follow the structured deadlines given by the Organizing Committee.

Requirements to apply:

Disposal and willingness to participate in a project that will give you the opportunity to create, to learn and transmit knowledge
Team-spirit and ability to collaborate with individuals from different educational backgrounds
Experience in International and/or Regional Simulations in a similar position (previous simulation on European Institutions will be considered as an asset)
Excellent knowledge and understanding of E.U. Institutions
Written and oral knowledge of English (or French, for applicants of the DROI Committee)
Leadership and organization skills; emphasis on ability to prioritize tasks and manage time
