Reaching its 10 year presence in the academic and training field, EUropa.S. 2019 inserts in the Institutions it simulates two new Committees of the European Parliament.

The first one is the Committee on Culture and Education (CULT) whose regulatory filed relates to examining issues and policies in which aspects of culture and education are included, and holds supervising authorities on the Member States. Its mandate focuses on the enhancement of lifelong learning programs, safeguarding the promotion of cultural and linguistic diversity, and cooperating with third countries in suchlike areas, to name but a few. Among some of its most recognizable actions are “Erasmus+”, the “Creative Europe” initiative as well as the “Europe for Citizens” programme. In its attempt to promote culture, the Committee itself has hosted a considerable number of cultural events such as art exhibitions and concerts. The CULT is made up of 61 members and in EUropa.S. 2019 will be simulated in French.
